Minced meat "hedgehogs" with vegetables

 


A very tasty and satisfying dish of minced meat, rice and vegetables. It is prepared easily and quickly, anyone can handle it. Ingredients: 1/2 cup rice; 1 cup water; 2 onions; 500 g minced meat; salt, pepper; garlic powder; spices for meat; paprika; Italian herbs; 1 egg; 1 carrot; 1-2 tomatoes; 1 bell pepper; 60 ml cream + 60 ml sour cream; 2 tablespoons tomato sauce; 1 tablespoon a spoonful of flour; 200 ml of warm water; Cooking method: Pour 1/2 cup of rice over 1 cup of water, add salt to taste and cook until tender.Cool the finished rice. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, meat spices, paprika, finely chopped 1 onion, and rice to 500 g of minced meat. Break 1 egg and mix everything well

Form minced meat into small patties and fry in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned.

Chop 1 onion into half rings and fry a little until transparent in vegetable oil. Add the grated carrots and mix. Chop the tomatoes and bell peppers into small cubes and add everything to the pan along with the onions and carrots. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Put 60 ml of cream + 60 ml of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce in a cup and mix. Then add 1 tablespoon of flour and mix again until smooth. Pour in 200 ml of warm water, add salt, Italian herbs, pepper and mix everything well again. Pour the mixture into the stewed vegetables, stir and simmer for another couple of minutes.

Add the cutlets to the vegetable mixture and simmer for 15 minutes under a lid over low heat. About 10 minutes after the start of stewing, turn the cutlets onto the other side. An incredibly delicious minced meat dish with rice and vegetables is ready!
